Cooling towers come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and styles depending on factors such as the size and nature of the operation using the tower. One style is the natural draft cooling tower which uses spray from nozzles to create an upward draft of evaporated water that effectively cools the water basin.
Natural draft counterflow cooling towers rely on their yoke style nozzles to help cool water. ATSPrayer Yoke Nozzle Features
The ATSprayer cooling tower nozzle is designed to be compatible with a client’s existing OEM nozzle body and parts, with a removable orifice and a range of adaptor selections. The unique features of the ATSPrayer yoke style nozzle include:
Compatibility – The ATSprayer and associated parts are interchangeable with existing OEM nozzles and parts. Our nozzles, orifices and accessories are the exact size, style and materials of your existing OEM parts.
Non-Clogging Design – The ATSprayer is designed to provide a non-clogging nozzle with a large overlapping spray pattern and increased efficiency.
Quick Delivery – All parts are kept in stock and ready for overnight delivery.
Adaptor Selections – Adaptor selections include 6”, 8” and flat (for any pipe diameter above 8”). The adaptors can be fastened to existing piping using one or a combination of all three of the following methods; solvent welded, screwed and banded.
Removable Orifice – The ATSprayer has incorporated a ridge within the throat of the nozzle in order to prevent the orifices from becoming dislodged or pushed out. Orifices range from .69” to 1.65”.
Individual Nozzle Parts Supply – We can also supply separately: splash plates, orifices, nozzle bodies and adaptors.
